"We are very fortunate for Rockingham's support of our fundraising events and none is more important to raising funds for our charitable works than our Oktoberfest."
The Sept. 15 date for this year's event is more in keeping with the traditional dates of the original Munich Oktoberfest which begins in mid-September. Aside from the new date for the event and indoor location other changes visitors will note is a family friendly "Kids Zone" with face painting, balloons, games and prizes for children.
In addition, attendees will note a more affordable admission price with adult admission now only $5 and children 12 and under admitted free. Details on advance tickets sales will be announced shortly.
