Salem Kindergarten/Grade 1 Registration

The Salem School District is seeking information of  age-eligible students for the 2011-2012 school year.  Parents of children who will be five (5) years of age by Sept. 30, 2011, may register their child for our kindergarten program. Parents of children who will be six (6) years of age by Sept. 30, 2011, and are not already enrolled in the district's kindergarten program, may register their child for first grade. Parents are asked to notify the Office of the Superintendent of Schools with the following information: 

First and Last Name
Date of Birth
Street Address and Mailing Address
Parents’ or Guardians’ Names
Home Telephone Number
Parent or Guardian E-mail Address

Parents can provide the above named information by calling 603-893-7040 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; by mailing the information to the Office of the Superintendent, 38 Geremonty Drive, Salem, NH 03079; or by emailing the information to kregistration@sau57.org.

Parents who provide this information will be mailed registration packets, including a formal registration form, parent questionnaire, health history form, and a home language survey that can be completed in advance of the registration process. Parents may then bring their completed packets to the Superintendent's office Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to  4:00 p.m.
