Salem Police: Manchester residents arrested on drug charges, MA woman was arrested for shoplifting, overdose reported at the Red Roof Inn.

SALEM, NH - A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested at 9:03 p.m. on April 17, 2016, for simple assault and reckless conduct. Police were sent to Ash Street for a report of a male allegedly throwing a skateboard and hitting another male subject in the nose. Police were sent to the scene and arrested the boy.

James Miller, 52, of Riverfront Drive in Manchester, was arrested on a warrant from of Auburn Police Department. Police arrested Miller after a traffic stop near Market Steet.

Brendan K. Batchelder, 31, of Newells Meadow Road in Manchester, was arrested at 1:28 p.m. on April 18, 2016, for possession of a controlled drug. Also arrested was Allison E. Batchelder, 29, of Bridge Street in Salem, for possession of a controlled drug-heroin, crack, less than 5 grams, possession of a controlled drug, and two counts of transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. They were arrested after police were sent to Rockingham Park on Rockingham Park Boulevard for a report of suspicious activity. Brendan Batchelder was given 45 minutes to report to a federal halfway house in Manchester, according to the report.

Jennifer Day, 30, of Topping Road in Andover, MA, was arrested at 2 p.m. on April 18, 2016, for willful concealment. She was arrested after police were sent to Kohl’s on Cluff Crossing Road for a report of a shoplifter.

Christopher A. Bogner, 34, of Smith Street in Salem, was arrested at 2:17 p.m. on April 19, 2016, for cruelty to animals; negligent. He was arrested on a warrant.

A 16-year juvenile was arrested at 10:58 a.m. on April 20, 2016, on two counts of domestic violence-simple assault and criminal threatening. Police were sent to Mike’s Sunoco on North Broadway for a report of a woman being strangled by a male subject. The vehicle later left the area onto Route 28. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the teenager.

Allen J. Pinkstein, 22, of Debbie Drive in Pelham, was arrested at 3:17 p.m. on April 20, 2016, for conduct after an accident. He turned himself in on a warrant.

Bethany Hart, 18, of Bell Street in Manchester, was arrested at 10:56 p.m. on April 21, 2016, on an unlawful possession/intoxication charge at the Red Roof Inn on Red Roof Inn Lane. She was arrested after police were sent to the motel for a report of a woman who “appears intoxicated” allegedly hitting a man in the parking lot.

At 1:18 a.m. on April 22, 2016, Salem Fire and Rescue teams as well as police were sent to the Red Roof Inn for a report of an overdose. The subject was transported later to Holy Family.
