A Nice Holiday Weekend Ahead!

It will be summer-like this long 4th of July holiday weekend - with warmth, humidity, and the possibility of a few storms.

Our nice stretch of weather is going to continue for the next several days, into and through the holiday weekend! If you are headed to the beaches, lakes, mountains, or staying local, the weather should cooperate for most outdoor activities.

Saturday
Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected. Temperatures for the most part will be in the middle 80s. Humidity will tend to increase throughout the day and it will become quite humid by Saturday night. An isolated thundershower can't be ruled out late in the day, particularly in northern or western New England; however, most areas will stay dry.

Sunday
There may be a few showers overnight Saturday night into the pre-dawn hours of Sunday. Any early clouds will give way to a mix of hazy sun and clouds during the day. The humidity will be high and temperatures will be warm. Expect highs generally in the middle and upper 80s. It should be just as warm at the beaches as a westerly wind should prevent a seabreeze from developing. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop during the afternoon and evening hours. Not all towns will be hit by a storm due to the scattered nature of them; however, keep an eye to the sky as the potential for an afternoon or evening thunderstorm is there. Some severe weather cannot be ruled out.  Check back for updates as we get closer.

Fourth of July - Monday
Nice! Varying amounts of sunshine and clouds. Seasonably warm but much less humid. Expect highs generally in the middle 80s. At this time, it appears as though the weather *should* cooperate for evening fireworks and BBQs, but check back for updates as we get closer.

Enjoy!
