Important Announcement: Salem Animal Rescue League Meads & Sweets Event (3/2/2013)
We are very excited about our meads and sweets tasting event this Saturday, March 2 at the Moonlight Meadery in Londonderry, NH from 6:30-8:30pm.
We are less than a week away from our exciting mead tasting event and I’d like to share with you a few thoughts and details.
As many of you know, SARL has greatly grown from its humble beginning in 1992. Today, we assist over a thousand animals each year with adoptions, vetting, fostering, and other services. We have come this far because of fantastic staff and volunteers, but also because our supporters have answered the call and helped produce successful fundraising events. Like any non-profit organization, we rely on successful fundraisers and generous donations to survive. At the same time, we want to make sure that our events are unique and enjoyable.
As such, we are very excited about our mead tasting event this Saturday, March 2 at the Moonlight Meadery in Londonderry, NH from 6:30-8:30pm. We have ensured that it will be a special evening at an affordable price. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple (which can include any two people, mother, daughter, friends etc.). What will the evening include?
In addition to mead tasting, we will be featuring specialty pastries and sweets from local bakeries, raffles for a variety of outstanding prizes, and opportunities to tour the meadery. Raffle prizes include but are not limited to: pet supply baskets, Lilly Pulitzer stretch rings, SARL gear, Coldwater Creek button covers, a signed Carl Yastrzemski baseball, and gift certificates to RigaTony’s, Dunkin Donuts, and Three Dogz Diner. Raffle ticket prices are: 3 for $5, 7 for $10, and 15 for $20.

If you have been looking for a casual night out doing something different, how about a fun evening with your spouse or friends? Come on down to our event and enjoy some mead and sweets for a great cause. Moonlight Meadery is generously offering a percentage of all mead sales during the event to SARL.
