Obama Lacks Leadership

President Obama again demonstrates his lack of leadership and backbone.  The President was scheduled to give a speech on jobs creation on Wednesday, Sept. 7.  House Speaker Boehner objected because it would interfere with the Republican presidential debate also scheduled for the same day.

The President should have stood his ground, stating that jobs creation is the primary issue of the day and insisting on giving his speech so that the American people could finally be reassured that he actually has a plan. Instead he gave in to Speaker Boehner and rescheduled the speech for Sept. 8, where it will no
longer conflict with the Republican debate.

The President’s jobs plan speech will instead be competing with opening night of the NFL, when there are two back-to-back games scheduled. Who is going to tune into a Presidential policy speech then? This President is completely lacking – he lacks a spine, a plan, a strategy and the leadership to implement it.
