Pumpkin Painting at Salem Farmers Market

Many future artists came out Sunday to create the pumpkin masterpiece. Salem Farmers Market held their second annual pumpkin painting event. Ages three and up all enjoyed. They brought the pumpkins and the art supplies were supplied by the SFM. Catlin Stevenson of the Rockingham County 4-H club was there to assist the young Michelangelos.

Thanks goes out to the three judges of the Greater Salem Art Association for coming out for the judging of the work. All the participants received reward ribbons for their work and creatively.

The Salem Farmers Market will be open every Sunday through Oct. 30. On Oct. 30 they are having a trick or treat at the Market. Bring your children, pets, friends and neighbors dressed in costumed. The vendors will offer treats.

The Salem Farmers Market will open their Winter Farmers Market on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Greenhouse at Lake Street Garden Center.

The winter market dates are Nov. 6 and 20, Dec. 4 and 18, Jan. 8 and 22 (this month only will be the 2^nd and 3^rd Sunday), Feb. 5 and 19, and March 4 and 18. For more information go to our web site www.salemnhfarmersmarket.com
