Michael Murray expressed his concern that the budget is in dire straits and spending has to be controlled, but certain essential services need to be explored very closely before cuts are made. “This is where you need communication between both parties.”

Mike promises if elected he will be a full time Representative, not part time. “I will put in the time to gain insight and knowledge of bills and to be able to answer questions when approached by a Salem constituent.”

Susan Desmet believes in the New Hampshire tradition which is bipartisan, commonsense leadership, all working together. “The Economy is a critical issue facing our State and we need to create a revenue source that protects the property owners.”

“Supporting expanded gambling has the potential to bring in much revenue to our State and our town of Salem.”

John Murphy spoke of the women who approached him at the polls on Primary Day, “distressed that the program her special needs child was in had been eliminated and what was she going to do?”

Each candidate spoke of the O’Brien Bills that have come out of Concord these past two years. O’Brien has led the legislature to decrease the quality of life for New Hampshire residents. They all assured they will bring a breath of fresh air needed back into the State House.
