Salem Democrats Offer Fran Brennan Memorial Scholarship Deadline March 29

The Salem Democratic Town Committee reminds high school seniors residing in Salem that the deadline to apply for their $500 college scholarship is Friday, March 29.

The Fran Brennan Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving graduating senior from Salem. Students graduating this year from any high school or home school program who will be attending apost-secondary institution in the fall is encouraged to apply.

The scholarship will be awarded based upon academic performance, extracurricular activities, financial need and a 500-word essay.

The scholarship winner will be announced at the Salem Democratic Committee's annual Spring Breakfast, which takes place Saturday, May11, 9-11 am at Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church in Salem.

All proceeds from the breakfast go to support the scholarship fund.
