SARL Nominates Robin Cino for Myra Kraft Community MVP Award
The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) today announced it has nominated volunteer Robin Cino of Windham, New Hampshire to receive the Myra Kraft Community MVP Award.

SALEM – The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) today announced it has nominated volunteer Robin Cino of Windham, New Hampshire to receive the Myra Kraft Community MVP Award.
The Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards honor individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication and a commitment to improving their communities through volunteerism. Through the program, nonprofit organizations throughout New England have the opportunity to reward hard-working volunteers for the invaluable time and support they provide to their communities.

Cino, is a vital member of the organization providing feline hospice care and is a member of the feline care team. She regularly handles sensitive tasks such as adoption paperwork and coordinating feline medications.
“Like all non-profit organizations, SARL owes its existence of over twenty years to the energy, generosity, and kindness of dedicated volunteers like Robin Cino,” said D.J. Bettencourt, SARL’s Development and Community Relations Director. “We are pleased to nominate her for this special recognition.”

Volunteering at the Salem Animal Rescue League in not the only way Robin gives back to her community. She also is dedicated to helping students in her hometown. She serves on the Board of Directors for two scholarship committees that help deserving high school students attend college. She also serves on the Windham High School Athletic Committee and organizes the schools “Senior Safe Night.”
“Volunteering at SARL is my passion, other than spending time with my family. There is no place I would rather be. Everyone who works here does it for the same reason—we all truly love these animals and we want to make their lives easier,” said Cino.
Twenty six winners will be selected, including one grand prize winner of $25,000, 10 second prize winners of $10,000 and 15 third prize winners of $5,000. The money will be awarded to the nonprofit organization for which each honoree volunteers. Winners will also be honored and receive their awards at the Myra Kraft Community MVP luncheon at Gillette Stadium in June.
The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) is a non-profit organization that seeks to save the lives of abandoned, neglected and injured animals of southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts by providing a safe haven, compassionate care and new permanent homes for the animals it serves. SARL currently serves over 1,500 animals a year.
