Summery weather gives way to clouds and rain

After a beautiful stretch of weather, some changes are ahead for the next few days.  Clouds and showers have already returned to the area, and rain will continue periodically for the next three days.

Showers will overspread the area and continue periodically throughout this afternoon.  Some heavier downpours are likely.  However, it will be the warmest day of this wet weather stretch as highs will reach the middle 70s.  Heavier rain and downpours will move in tonight and continue  into the morning hours of Thursday.   Thereafter, clouds and occasional showers are expected.  It will be a fairly raw feeling day with high temperatures mainly in the 60s.

We will begin to gradually break out of the rainy weather by Friday; however, the risk of a few showers will still exist.  Saturday will bring clouds and some partial sun, but also the risk of a shower or thunderstorm.

Looking way ahead, next week looks fairly normal for this time of year: sunshine and clouds, with highs in the low 80s.
