THANK YOU!!! Marshall is HOME with the help of so many!!!

It took seven long days, six sleepless nights, 400 flyers, thousands of staples, five large intersection posters, two blogs on the Salem Patch, an info blast on Channel 17, over 100 phone calls, many text messages, two traps, one camera, several tanks of gas, dozens of sightings, a squeaky toy, two leashes, a dog bed, two very worried owners, countless friends, family, an incredible outpouring of community service from the wonderful people of Salem and four volunteers from the Granite State Dog Recovery Team to finally locate, corner and bring Marshall home safe!

Finding a very frightened little 14 pound dog on a very busy street surrounded by woods, fast cars and lots of wildlife seemed almost impossible but there was not a moment when anyone gave up!

I am very, very happy to report that Marshall is now comfortably back home in his own bed tonight, none worse for the wear and everyone that stopped to help during that long week has breathed a huge sigh of relief. It is a great community that we live in when neighbors help neighbors and ask for nothing in return but a happy ending! I am extremely proud to live in Salem and be part of this very desirable community.
