Thank You to Scott Muir & Muir Landscaping of Salem, NH

On behalf of the Birches Academy of Academics and Art, the students and staff would like to extend a HUGE “Thank You” to Scott Muir & Muir Landscaping of Salem, NH for the generous gift of a beautiful cluster Birch Tree. There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your donation. We at Birches Academy of Academics and Art are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like Muir Landscaping who answer the call to give again and again.

Scott Muir has always held a vested interest in the local community and has made it his occupation to make the town of Salem, NH and other surrounding towns, more beautiful, one yard or one business at a time. Muir’s Landscaping maintains many local business properties and The Birches Academy of Academics and Art are proud to be on that list.

Not only did Muir’s Landscaping donate the tree, they came and planted the tree, just in time for our Spring Earth Day celebration! The team of landscapers were a joy to be around and they interacted with all 88 students who watched them dig, and dig, and dig until the new Birch tree found its new home. Over the years, this tree will establish its roots, much like the school itself. The branches will extend to the sky, much like all our growing students.

The Head of School at the Birches Academy, Dr. Dael Angelico-Hart, once wrote “Children are a message that we send to a time that we will never see” This Birch tree will persevere and will be here for many many years to come. So when that child arrives, to that time that we may never see, they will be greeted by the Birch tree donated by Muir’s Landscaping.
