What can you find at a Winter Farmers Market

Many in our community still do not know we have an awesome community event happening here in Salem New Hampshire. A Winter Farmers Market twice a month through the end of May.

Jane Lang, Volunteer organizer brings on the first and third Sunday of each month an assortment of local vendors who actually produce the items they bring to sell. Where can you go and get fresh grown greens in the dead of winter? Arrowhead Family Farms brings to each market their pickings from the heated greenhouses where they grow an incredible assortment of greens. Brookford Farm brings raw milk, yogurt, cheeses, organic flour, onions, sweet potatoes, and beets. Hurd Farm brings in all their all natural grass fed beef, chickens and pork from Heritage breed pigs. Our vendors produce Pure maple syrup, jams, relishes, honey, soaps, eggs, freshly prepared foods, granola, fresh breads and more!

Our Salem NH Farmers Market is hosted by Lake Street Garden Center. They have generously donated space to bring the southern tier this awe-inspiring market.

What can you find at a Winters Farmers Market? Stop by our next market on Sunday February 17 from 10-2 and see for yourself. You will not go home empty handed and most important you are buying fresh and shopping local.
