Brentwood Man Indicted On 15 Forgery Counts: Rockingham County Superior Court Roundup
Salem woman faces burglary charge; Seabrook habitual offender indicted reckless conduct charges; Vermont woman indicted on theft charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.
Michael A. Rubin, 67, of Smith Road in Brentwood on theft by deception and 15 counts of forgery. Between June 1, and June 27, 2022, he was accused of uttering a forged check at TD Bank in Brentwood on another person’s bank account for $3,547.65 as well as 15 other smaller withdrawals on the bank account.
Jasmine Marie Seaver, 21, of Rockingham Village in Seabrook on driving while certified as a habitual offender and two reckless conduct charges, all felonies. She was accused of driving in the parking lot of an apartment complex and Lafayette Road in Seabrook on Nov. 24, 2022, after being deemed a habitual offender by the state. Seaver was also accused of driving the vehicle into a parked vehicle and toward two Seabrook police officers, placing them in danger and requiring them to jump out of the way to not be struck by a vehicle.

Jonah M. Seitz, 45, of Tecumseh Street in Fall River, Massachusetts, on attempted theft by deception and forgery charges, both felonies. He was accused of uttering a counterfeit check and obtained $4,275.30 on July 15, 2022, in Salem.
Laurie Slingerland, 54, of Hyde Street in Burlington, Vermont, on theft by unauthorized taking and three accomplice receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. She was accused of working in concert with Melissa J. Singerland to retain stolen items from Coach, Michael Kors, and Ugg outlet stores, Dick’s Sporting Goods in Salem on Dec. 4, 2022.

Cory Joseph Spencer, 47, of Demeritt Avenue in Lee on theft by deception and theft by unauthorized taking charges, both felonies. He was accused of accepting $9,468 to install a deck, patio, siding, windows, and a door and abandoning the work in Raymond on April 27, 2022.
Michael Christian Steever, 43, of Route 12 in Westmoreland on possession of fentanyl and possession of crack cocaine charges, both felonies, in Londonderry on Sept. 24, 2022. Previously, according to the indictment, he has been previously convicted on prior offenses.
Brittney C. Swanson, 33, of Shannon Road in Salem on a felony burglary charge. She was accused of entering an Atkinson Road building in Salem between Aug. 21, and Aug. 24, 2022.
Ruben Kelvin Torres Jr., 32, of Nesmith Road in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on a felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell or dispense charge on May 20, 2022, in Salem.
Elijah Wilson, 22, of Kittredge Road in Spencer, MA, on two reckless conduct charges. He was accused of placing others in danger while driving on Ocean Boulevard after consuming alcohol on July 30, 2022, in Hampton and crashing into a building.
