Concord Man Pleads Guilty to Rioting at Canobie Lake Park
Vermont family was charged last summer after melee carrying knives into the Salem amusement park.

A local man has decided to plead guilty to two charges instead of face a trial after an incident last year at Canobie Lake Park, according to NECN.
Joshua Perry, formerly of Vermont but now of Concord, pled guilty to one charge of rioting, a felony, as well as resisting arrest in Salem District Court. He was sentenced to one year in jail with a six month suspended sentence for two years, according to the report. He also received a suspended sentence for the resisting charge.
Perry, and other members of his family, were arrested and charged in June 2014, after an incident at the park where security reportedly requested that they leave knives they were carrying on belts in their cars. Police allege that the family members became “extremely belligerent.” Two Salem Police officers working a detail at the park were reportedly injured during the incident.
