East Hampstead Woman Dies After Vehicle Strikes Large Rock: NHSP
NHSP: Single-vehicle crash in Atkinson last night took the life of Francine Jolivet. She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers.

ATKINSON, NH — A local woman lost her life last night after a single-vehicle crash in Atkinson, according to New Hampshire State Police. Francine Jolivet, 64, of East Hampstead, reportedly exited a driveway on Pope Road in her Subaru Impreza at around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 6, 2016, accelerated, drove across the road, and struck a large rock, according to Sgt. Keith J. Walker of the NHSP.
“The vehicle subsequently rolled over,” Walker noted. “Jolivet was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected. She sustained fatal injuries at the scene.”
All aspects of this collision are under investigation, he noted, and added that no other vehicles were involved in the incident. Troopers were assisted at the scene by members of the Atkinson Police Department and the Atkinson Fire Department.
