The Salem Board of Selectmen has issued a call for candidates to serve as members of the Economic Development Action Committee (EDAC.) EDAC is dedicated to economic development to facilitate opportunities by focusing on developing and implementing strategies for business expansion and retention. Serving as an internal Town committee EDAC will report to the Board of Selectmen. This is a standing committee that will meet once per month. Interested citizens wishing to serve on this committee may submit an application to the Town Manager's office before 5pm on Thursday April 24th, 2014. Applications can be picked up at Town Hall, 33 Geremonty Drive or on our website at http://www.townofsalemnh.org/boards-committees-commissions.asp.
