Haverhill Man Arrested on ID, Credit Card Fraud, Other Charges: Log

Police: Merrimack man arrested for panhandling, Salem residents arrested for shoplifting, and teen charged after driving erratically.

SALEM, NH — David Girard, 63, of Tiffany Road in Salem, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. on June 13, 2016, for willful concealment. He was arrested at the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet on Cluff Crossing Road.

Crystal L. Paplaskas, 25, of Lowell Road in Salem, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. on June 13, 2016, for willful concealment and breach of bail. She was arrested at Walmart on North Broadway. Paplaskas was held without bail and taken to the Rockingham County Jail.

Ryan J. LaRochelle, 30, of Hall Street in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 10:34 a.m. on June 14, 2016, on a theft of services (less than $1,000) charge. He was arrested on a warrant and released on personal recognizance bail.

Timothy B. Mills, 31, of Nichols Street in Merrimac, MA, was arrested at 12:59 p.m. on June 14, 2016, for possession of a controlled drug and other warrants. He refused bail and was held.

Nathan D. Chase, 36, of Winter Street in Merrimack, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. on June 14, 2016, for disorderly conduct and breach of bail. Police were sent to South Broadway for a solicitation complaint about a panhandler in the road. Chase was trespassed from panhandling in Salem and arrested.

Steven H. Jackson, 57, of Currier Avenue in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. on June 14, 2016, for simple assault, resisting arrest or detention, identity fraud, and credit card fraud (between $1,000 and $1,500 or two priors). Police were sent to the Red Roof Inn for a report of a possible credit card fraud case. The victim reportedly contacted the inn and claimed his card had been used since May 22. When police arrived, Jackson had a head injury and was taken to Parkland Medical Center. He was arrested later and refused bail.

Jinette Valentin, 39, of Dewey Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. on June 14, 2016, for willful concealment, breach of bail, and possession of a controlled drug-cocaine (less than half an ounce). Police were sent to a shoplifting complaint at Lowes on South Broadway and she was arrested. Bail was set at $2,500 cash.

A 17-year-old was given a summons at 4:50 p.m. on June 15, 2016, for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop on Lowell Road after a caller reported a vehicle changing rates of speed from 20 to 50 mph, changing lanes, and not staying in the correct lane, according to a report.

Mark A. Blanco, 36, of Olive Avenue in Salem, was arrested at 10:18 p.m. on June 16, 2016, for operating after being certified as a habitual offender. He was arrested after allegedly attempting to “lose” an officer in the area. He was arrested and put on a 72-hour probation hold.
