Salem Police are reporting that they have officers on the scene to assist New Hampshire State Police.

At just after 1 p.m., the left travel lane opened up on the highway and just before 2 p.m., the entire Interstate was reopened to traffic.

This is the second time in three days that the Interstate has been closed. Last week it was shut down for hours after numerous vehicles crash after a fast, shifting snow storm quickly turned to ice ... turning the area into a parking lot.
