Pat Hargreaves sent along these pictures of the efforts to surface the area of the new playground at Hedgehog Park this past Saturday morning.

Hargreaves said around 20 people turned out for the project, including many members of the Greater Salem Rotary Club. Because of the number of people, they were able to complete the project in about three hours.
