Lawrence Residents Arrested on Shoplifting Charges: Log

SALEM, NH — Reni J. Santiago, 19, of Oxford Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 1:59 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2016, for willful concealment after an alleged incident at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Zackarie Farrell, 24, of Fern Avenue in Gilmanton, was arrested at 4:09 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2016, for willful concealment after an alleged incident at Lord & Taylor at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

An overdose was reported at 7:34 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2016, on Bailey Road. The man was transported to Holy Family.

Christian Vargas, 32, of Tiffany Road in Salem, was arrested at 9:46 a.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, for simple assault. Police were sent to the home for a woman alleging that she had been assaulted. Salem Fire and Rescue teams were sent to check on the woman while the police met with the suspect at the Enterprise Bank on Main Street. He was later arrested.

Shawn Mahoney, 26, of Silvestri Circle in Derry, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, for driving under the influence, driving under the influence-subsequent, resisting arrest, open container, and breach of bail. Police were sent to Gordon Avenue for a report of a man passed out in a woman’s driveway. Officers arrived and arrested the man but he reportedly resisted. Mahoney was also reportedly taken in to protective custody due to his alleged intoxication level.

Brett G. Covey, 36, of Vista Ridge Road in Londonderry, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, for simple assault. Police were sent to Hutch Road for a report of a couple arguing in the road with the man on foot and a woman in a vehicle, according to dispatch. The domestic incident, according to police investigating the matter, started in Woburn, MA, but continued into Salem. A search for Covey was undertaken and he was found at a friend’s house nearby, according to police.

Keith C. Campbell, 23, of Salem Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. on Aug. 13, for loitering or prowling. Police were sent to Oakridge Avenue for a report of a man looking inside of vehicles. A sergeant spoke to the man and he was arrested and released on a summons.
