Lowell Cocaine Dealer Caught With Phony Movie Money: Cops
Breaking: Salem Police: Richard Caraballo Jr. was bagged this morning while allegedly driving erratically on I-93 South.

SALEM, NH — A Bay State man was arrested on numerous charges including intent to distribute after being stopped on I-93 South this morning, according to police. Richard Caraballo Jr., 24, of Lowell, MA, was arrested on Jan. 16, 2018, for possession of a controlled drug-cocaine, transporting drug in a motor vehicle, and two counts of forgery. At around 1:30 a.m., officers on I-93 reportedly observed a vehicle “traveling erratically,” according to Capt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department.

“Upon stopping the vehicle, officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the lone male occupant,” Dolan alleged. “As officers spoke with the operator, they observed signs of recent drug use in the vehicle. Officers were able to speak to the male and gained permission to look through the vehicle.”

During the search, the officers allegedly found several counterfeit $100 bills marked “Motion Picture Use Only.” The bills, Dolan alleged, also had the same serial number. The officers then allegedly located one large and three small baggies of a white powdery substance consistent with cocaine, according to the report. The weight of the bags was more than 28 grams, Dolan stated.
Caraballo was arrested and held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections after refusing bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned today in Rockingham County Superior Court.
