George was picked up this afternoon by marshals in Lawrence, MA, after being featured as a fugitive by New Hampshire media outlets.
“It was based on this feature that the U.S. Marshals received tips indicating that George was in the Lawrence, Mass. area,” according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal. “Members of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Massachusetts checked a variety of areas throughout Lawrence and the surrounding towns. It was during this search that members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Massachusetts observed George walking down the street. George was stopped and taken into custody without incident.”

George is wanted on a Rockingham County warrant from Sept. 3, 2015, for failure to appear at a burglary and escape charge, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal. He was arrested for failure to appear in August and also arrested in October 2014.
“George was last known to be living in Kingston, NH, but is also known to spend time in northern Massachusetts with friends and associates,” White said in a statement. “George has an extensive criminal history involving drugs, assault, burglaries, thefts and escape. Based on his history, George should be approached with caution and only by law enforcement.”
