Mass. Man, Possibly Camping In Colorado, Is Refusing To Return Kids To NH: Cops
Salem Police are investigating custody incident; believe Matthew Giovanditto of Taunton, MA, is camping in the Denver/Colorado Springs area.
SALEM, NH — Police in New Hampshire are attempting to locate a Bay State father who is allegedly refusing to return his four children to the Granite State to his ex-wife, who has custody rights, according to police. A Salem woman filed a complaint with police on Sept. 11, 2017, after Matthew Giovanditto, 30, with a last known address of Taunton, MA, drove their children – 3- to 9-years-old – to Colorado. She alleged that he agreed to take them for “a short time while she got situated” but now, was refusing to return.
Giovanditto, according to Capt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department, is believed to be driving a 2015 white, Chevrolet Traverse bearing New Hampshire Disabled Veteran plate 2559.
