New Hampshire, Mass. Men Arrested On Tewksbury Drug Charges
Vincent Aiello of Derry, NH, and Edgar Herrera of Lowell, MA, were arrested on charges Friday after police reportedly saw a transaction.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Two men, including one from New Hampshire, were arrested in Massachusetts last week after police and county sheriff’s deputies reported witnessing a drug transaction.
Edgar Herrera, 39, of Lowell, MA, was arrested on a distribution of a Class B drug charge on Friday. Also charged was Vincent Aiello, 53, of Derry, NH, for possession of a Class B drug.

According to Tewksbury Police Chief Ryan Columbus, around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, officers and members of the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office were around Andover Street when they reported seeing what appeared to be a drug transaction between people inside two vehicles, a Lexus sedan and a Honda CR-V.
Police then stopped both vehicles, a report stated.

The Lexus, which Aiello drove, was searched, and a small bag containing a white powdery substance, believed to be cocaine, was found in the vehicle, according to police. Herrera, police said, was driving the CR-V. Both men were arrested without incident.
Both men were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell MA District Court on Tuesday.
