Pleasant Street In Salem Closed Temporarily

The Policy Brook Culvert will be replaced beginning Sept. 18, 2017.

SALEM, NH — Pleasant Street is scheduled to be temporarily closed from Sept. 18, through Oct. 13, 2017, to support replacement of the Policy Brook Culvert and impacted utilities, according to police. The culvert replacement is part of the mixed-use redevelopment of the former Rockingham Park Racetrack and will reduce historic flooding in the area. Complete road closure will occur at the culvert however all residential and business driveways will be fully accessible at all times from either Main Street (for locations north of the culvert) or Route 38 (for locations south of the culvert).
