Police Searching For Third Suspect In Attempted Burglary Incident

Andrae Rincon of Salem, and Devin Chhit of Lowell, MA, have allegedly been identified after an attempted Pelham burglary incident.

PELHAM, NH — Two of seven men who are suspected of an attempted burglary in Pelham are being sought by police. Andrae Rincon, 24, of Salem, and Devin Chhit, 19, of Lowell, MA, have been “positively identified” by Pelham Police as suspects in an attempted burglary at the Gage Hill Farm Variety Store on Bridge Street, according to a press release. On Nov. 7, 2017, police were sent to the store after video surveillance reportedly captured the attempted burglary.

“The video showed at least seven individuals who arrived in two separate vehicles,” according to the report. “It appears that the vehicles were used as police look outs, as the suspects approached the front of the store. Suspects were dressed in dark clothing and using bandanas and hoods to cover their faces.”

During the incident, the front window of the store was damaged but the suspects were unable to make entry into the building as it is equipped with an alarm. The suspects then fled the area.

Three of the suspects were caught on surveillance cameras. Detectives worked with police in Massachusetts to identify two of the suspects, according to police. Warrants were issued for Chhit – for prowling and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief – and Rincon – for prowling and criminal mischief.

“Pelham Detectives are continuing to investigate this crime in an attempt to identify the other suspects that assisted Rincon and Chhit,” the report noted. “The Pelham Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a third suspect.”
