Traffic Alignment Changes Coming to I-93

Driving patterns will shift to new roadways at Exit 3, Route 111, and Range Road in Windham.

WINDHAM, NH - The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced that on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, traffic on Route 111 will be shifted from the existing roadway to the newly constructed roadway from the I-93 Exit 3 Northbound interchange to Route 111 and Range Road intersection. Exit 3 NB off ramp will also be shifted into a new alignment by opening the eastbound slip lane, according to a press statement.

The work is scheduled to occur through 3 p.m.. Lane closures will be utilized to perform this work. Uniformed officers, flaggers, and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. Minor traffic delays can be anticipated. 

This work is part of the construction of the final northbound I-93 roadway alignment and northbound ramps in the vicinity of Exit 3 and Weigh Station. Weaver Bros. Construction of Bow is the general contractor for the $32.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2016.
