Convicted Felon, Potentially Armed and Dangerous Fugitive Sought

CONCORD, NH – The District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is looking for Giovanni Angel Monroe, 35, a convicted armed robber for conditional release violations, according to an alert.

Monroe is 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. with brown hair, brown eyes, and medium skin tone. He has tattoos on his arms, right hand, and neck. Monroe has also reportedly been known to use aliases such as “Giovani Monroe,” “Angel Monroe,” and “Angel Giovanni,” according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White.

“Monroe is being sought on an outstanding arrest warrant for conditional release violations on original charges of armed robbery (two counts), criminal threatening, felon in possession and falsifying physical evidence,” according to White. “Monroe has extensive ties to the Strafford County area, where he has friends, family and associates.”

Back in November 2015, Monroe and alleged associates burglarized a home on Academy Street in Rochester with a handgun and a knife and robbed the residents, according to WOKQ.com.
