Salem Animal Rescue League thanks Salem and Camp Runels Girl Scouts for their Support

On behalf of the Salem Animal Rescue League, I would like to thank Salem Girl Scout Troop 10784 and scout leader Rae-Marie Wissekerke and the Girl Scouts from Camp Runels in Pelham, NH.

Last week both groups donated valuable and very much appreciated community service hours to SARL. In addition to their time, they also donated supplies for the animals. Troop 10784 provided dog and cat food and toys while the Camp Runels troop generously made homemade dog treats. Were this not enough, both troops walked dogs, socialized kittens, and helped organize our donation shed.

At the Salem Animal Rescue League, we have been able to continue our mission of saving animals because of caring individuals such as the Girl Scouts who believe in us and our cause to find a good home for every animal at our shelter. All of us at SARL and especially our animals are extremely grateful to these young ladies and all who volunteer their time to help us.

These young women are certainly carrying out the Girl Scout mission to “make the world a better place.” For that we are incredibly thankful.
