Salem First Responders Eat Taco Gigantes for Charity
It's department vs. patrol at Margaritas on Oct. 4 to raise money for charity; $2 from tacos purchased this month will go to Team IMPACT.

SALEM, NH — Tomorrow is National Taco Day and to celebrate, Margaritas in Salem is hosting a “battle of the badges” competition between Salem Police Department Officers and Salem Police Department Patrolmen to see which team can take on the Taco Gigante. Margaritas Taco Gigante is a hand-crafted, 12-inch, 2 lbs. taco stuffed with seasoned chicken, taco beef, pork carnitas, bacon, lettuce, refried beans, Mexican rice, salsa fresca, cheese queso sauce, hacienda and picante sauces, crema and pickled jalapenos. One Taco Gigante is served to each team member; and the first department to have every team member complete the challenge wins.
Winning teams will receive $250 donated to the charity of their choice and a free Margaritas catered taco party. The losing team receives a $100 donation to their chosen charity.
The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at Margaritas, 1 Keewaydin Drive in Salem.
