Salem Man Accused Of Trying To Run A Woman Over: Police Log
Pair accused of sexual activity outside moved along; soman faces drug, theft charges; Newton, MA, woman arrested on bail, resisting charges.

SALEM, NH — At 9:29 p.m. on March 18, 2022, police were sent to Red Roof Lane for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The subjects were “engaging in sexual activity” and were “moved along.”
Mary Elizabeth Meuse, 34, of Wilson Street in Manchester was arrested at 8:58 p.m. on March 18 on operating without a valid license, driving after revocation or suspension, and misuse of plates charges after a stop on Brookdale Bridge. A man was given a courtesy ride to the McDonald’s Restaurant off Exit 3.
Jesus Adan Miranda, 36, of Osgood Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, was arrested on a bench warrant after a motor vehicle stop on South Broadway Street at 8:18 p.m. on March 18. He was released on $500 cash bail and given a courtesy ride to the town line with Methuen.

Nicholas Rio, 30, of Silver Mine Lane in Georgetown, MA, was arrested on a warrant out of Gorham at 1:03 p.m. on March 18.
Richard L. Jones, 47, of Lawrence Road in Salem was arrested at 2:41 a.m. on March 18 on first-degree assault-domestic violence-deadly weapon and reckless conduct-deadly weapon charges. Police were waved down at Webster and North Policy streets by a person while, at the same time, 911 received a call from a woman stating a man was trying to kill her. Police reported the victim claimed Jones tried to run her down with a black Chevy Cruz. The vehicle was found on Lawrence Road. Jones was arrested and held on preventive detention.

Angelica Rose Muniz, 27, of North Street in Haverhill, MA, received a summons at 7:20 p.m. on March 16 on operating without a valid license and driving after revocation or suspension charges after a motor vehicle stop on South Broadway Street.
Abenet A. Walker, 35, of Roycraft Road in Nashua was cited at 5:56 p.m. on March 16 on operating without a valid license and driving after revocation or suspension charges after a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
Theresa Gail Ainsworth, 52, of Passaconway Road in Center Ossipee was arrested at 1:07 p.m. on March 16 on possession of a controlled drug, falsifying physical evidence, and receiving stolen property, two prior convictions, all felonies as well as breach of bail and theft detection shield use charges. She was arrested on a warrant.
Katherine Montes, 34, of Smith Court in Newton, Massachusetts, was arrested at 9:16 a.m. on March 16 on bail jumping and resisting arrest or detention charges. She was arrested on a warrant at Salem District Court and held without bail.
Meghan Lyn Whitten, 31, of Second Street in Rochester was arrested at 1:58 a.m. on March 16 on a bench warrant as well as driving after revocation or suspension and suspension of vehicle registration charges. Also arrested was Britny F. Adjutant, 31, of Ballards Drive E Road in Wakefield on a warrant. They were arrested after police went sent to the Red Roof Inn on Red Roof Lane for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
