Salem Police Log: Alleged Stalkers Arrested

Plus, Michigan men arrested, shoplifters picked up at Macy's, and teen charged with theft.

George Buckley, 44, of School Street in Salem, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2015, for stalking; domestic violence; order. A woman alleged that her estranged husband called her from jail. Buckley turned himself in to police.

Cameron A. Fortinberry, 25, of Pine Knob Road in Clarkson, MI, was arrested at 12:28 p.m. on Aug. 27, for possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine) and false report. Officers were sent to South Broadway for a report of an overdose. When they arrived, they found a 35-year-old man with a medical problem. Fortinberry was later arrested and sent to an arraignment at Salem District Court.

Umberto A. Capuano, 40, of Caleb Drive in Danville, was arrested at 2:11 p.m. on Aug. 27, for criminal mischief and conduct after an accident. He was arrested on a warrant at police headquarters.

Sean P. Callery, 31, of Forrest Street in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 2:51 p.m. on Aug. 27, for willful concealment after a shoplifting incident at Macy’s at the Mall and Rockingham Park.

A 16-year-old was arrested at 7:29 p.m. on Aug. 27, for shoplifting and possession/use of tobacco by a minor. He was arrested at Macy’s at the Mall and Rockingham Park.

Manuel Reyes, 20, of Lowell Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 7:29 p.m. on Aug. 27, for willful concealment.

Mark Carito, 19, of Sunset Circle in Salem, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. on Aug. 27, for theft by unauthorized taking. He was arrested on a warrant at police headquarters.

Michelle Impey, 54, of Main Street in Kingston, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. on Aug. 27, for driving under the influence-impairment. An officer was tipped off to a possible drunk driver heading toward The Depot in a silver Range Rover. The vehicle was later stopped and Impey was given a field sobriety test. She was later arrested.

Jacob Belanger, 22, of Seawall Street in Manchester, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. on Aug. 28, for criminal threating, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, and stalking. Police were sent to South Policy Street to assist a woman who alleged that her ex-boyfriend followed her home and was outside her home with a gun. On their way to the scene, the man, Belanger, reportedly drove by them in an orange Honda Civic and was stopped. He was arrested, refused bail, and was transported to jail.
