Salem Police Log: Man Allegedly Threatens Woman with Shotgun

Plus, Mass. teens arrested for shoplifting and Derry woman arrested for reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

Chad R. Cyr, 32, of Salutation Street in Boston, MA, was arrested at 2:43 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2015, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking (two prior conviction), conduct after an accident, and driving after revocation or suspension, subsequent charge. He was arrested by the Middletown House of Corrections and was being held, according to the Lawrence ADA.

Noelle H. Betit, 26, of Summit Avenue in Derry, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. on Aug. 21, on a reckless conduct-deadly weapon warrant. She was arrested at Parkland Medical Center.

Four juveniles were arrested on shoplifting charges at 4:21 p.m. on Aug. 22, at the Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Anita Libby, 65, of Sweet Hill Road in Plaistow, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. on Aug. 22, for willful concealment. She was arrested at Kohl’s on Cluff Crossing Road.

John T. Cassidy, 46, of Maple Street in Manchester, was arrested at 9:06 p.m. on Aug. 22, for willful concealment. He was arrested at the Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park. Cassidy also had warrants out of Rochester and Manchester.

Lorena L. Cruz, 19, of Tower Hill Street in Lawrence, MA, and Crystal M. Lemus, 19, of William G. Drive in Tewksbury, MA, were both arrested at 6:29 p.m. on Aug. 23, on willful concealment charges. They were arrested at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Sean M. O’Connell, 32, of Maplewood Avenue in Methuen, MA, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. on Aug. 23, on a willful concealment charge. He was arrested after a foot pursuit from the Market Basket on South Broadway.

George Buckley, 44, of School Street in Salem, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on Aug. 23, for domestic violence-criminal threatening, domestic violence-simple assault, possession of a controlled drug, and criminal restraint. An officer spoke to a woman about a domestic incident earlier in the evening where a man allegedly threatened her with a shotgun. She alleged that the man, Buckley, had been drinking all day as well, according to the report. She left the home and checked in to a local hotel. Officers went to the home and arrested Buckley and later, retrieved more evidence in the case.
