
The Salem Police Department is looking for the public’s help investigating a robbery less than an hour ago, according to an alert.
A masked man reportedly robbed the Dunkin’ Donuts at 36 Pelham Road in Salem at about 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 28.
The man brandished a handgun and demanded money from a cashier, according to Lt. Ronald Peddle of the Salem Police Department.

“After the suspect got all of the money in the cash register, he fled in a dark sedan driven by an accomplice,” according to Peddle. ”There were no injuries reported.”
The suspect is described as a white male wearing black clothing. There is no description of the accomplice at this time and no video or photos yet.

“The case is being investigated and an update will be disseminated if new information becomes available,” he stated.
