Salem Police Seek To Find Owners Of Tabby Cat

Animal Control Officer Bliss responded to Summer Street late last week for a feline who had found its way under a house.

SALEM, NH — Police in Salem are asking for the public's help finding the owner of a cat. According to a post on Facebook, Animal Control Officer Bliss responded to Summer Street late last week for a feline who had found its way under a house. The cat, an adult, female, brown “tabby” with a white chest, had made a home under the resident’s house.

"Bliss was able to remove the cat to the warmth of the kennel and reports that it is happy, well fed, but showing signs of poor vision," the post noted. "Before you all ask, the cat did not have a collar, tag, or embedded microchip."

If this is your cat, call Salem Police at 603-893-1911.
