Salem Police Seek Info On Alleged Tire Slasher

Breaking: 10 tires on nine vehicles on Millville Circle had their tires slashed this week. Investigators believe the suspect is a woman.

SALEM, NH — Police in Salem are asking for the public’s help with a criminal mischief investigation involving slashed vehicle tires on Millville Circle, according to a post on Facebook. At least nine vehicles had 10 tires slashed during the overnight hours of July 11, to July 12, 2017. None of the residents police have talked with reported hearing or seeing anything out of the ordinary, according to the report.

No additional damage or thefts were reported either, police stated.

Surveillance video taken from across the street of one of the victim’s reveals a possible suspect – a woman with long hair in a ponytail wearing a dark stocking hat, dark jacket, white shirt, and dark pants.

Damage estimates are greater than $2,000, according to police, meaning that any charges forwarded could reach felony status.
