“Prospective new voters need to be 18 years of age and are required to present a picture ID and proof of domicile,” Kelly Anne Dortona, Salem’s supervisor of the checklist, said. “A driver’s license is acceptable. Naturalized citizens must show documented citizenship papers or a United States passport.”

This session is one opportunity where residents can register to vote before the town deliberative session at 9 a.m. on Feb. 4 at the Salem High School auditorium, where residents must be registered voters to attend. The town election is on March 14.
