Salem Teen Arrested for DUI After Crash: Police Department

SALEM, NH — Brian K. Hand, 43, of Kelly Road in Londonderry, was arrested at 7:49 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2017, for forgery and two bench warrants. He was arrested on a warrant by Manchester Police and transported to Salem.

An overdose was reported at 11:05 a.m. on Feb. 27, 2017, on Fern Road after a man was found on the ground. He was transported to Holy Family.

Omar J. Perez, 26, of Cedar Street in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2017, for simple assault and conduct after an accident. Police were sent to Cumbies on South Broadway for a report of a possible hit-and-run involving a vehicle leaving the parking lot. Salem Fire and Rescue teams were also called to the scene and transported one person to Holy Family. Perez was also arrested.

Kara W. Routier, 49, of Larson Drive in Hampstead, was arrested at 8:50 a.m. on Feb. 26, 2017, for DUI-second or third charge, possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. She was arrested after police were sent to North Broadway near Walmart for a report of a vehicle all over the road. She was stopped at Sanel’s and arrested.

An overdose was reported at 11 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2017, on Pond Street. A man was transported to Holy Family.

Nicholas Salvatore, 19, of Gibney Circle in Salem, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on Feb. 25, 201y, for DUI and disobeying an officer. Police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a three-vehicle crash on Broadway near the IHoP restaurant. One was transported to Parkland Medical Center. Salvatore was arrested.
