Salem Teen Indicted On Child Sexual Assault Charges: Rockingham County Superior Roundup
Plus: Rochester man indicted on 7 theft charges; Derry, Newmarket strangulation indictments; Kingston felon indicted on weapon charge.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.
Michael S. Spear, 48, of Broad Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts, was indicted on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Target in Salem on July 11, 2022. Twice before, he was convicted on theft charges.
Mary Kathleen Stevens, 59, of Pitman Road in East Hampstead on two felony identity fraud charges. She was accused of using another person’s birth date and Social Security number to Sallie Mae, to obtain a student loan for her son, on Aug. 18, and Aug. 19, 2019, in Hampstead.

Anthony Steven Terrio, 50, of Front Street in Exeter on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Derry on April 2.
Ross Thyne, 25, of Pleasure Lands Glade Road in Center Ossipee on a felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Newmarket on April 4.

Joshua Carter Upham, 46, of Manchester Street in Manchester on forgery and theft by deception charges, both felonies. He was accused of uttering a check against a town of Hampton account for $4,195, made payable to himself, on Oct. 5, 2022, in Derry.
Karli Isabellea Vivier-Dow, 21, of Catherine Avenue in Hampstead on a felony attempted burglary charge. She was accused of trying to push her way into a structure on Linebrook Road in Atkinson on March 21.
Michael James Watson, 33, of Wakefield Street in Rochester on seven felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing items from Bed Bath and Beyond on Feb. 17 and March 16 in Salem; Best Buy in Salem on March 5, March 12, and March 16; and Kohl’s and Home Depot in Salem on March 16. Previously, he has been convicted twice before on theft charges.
Tyler R. Welsh, 33, of Half Moon Lane in Kingston on a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon-metallic knuckles felony count in Seabrook on April 9. He is a felon due to a burglary convicted in Rockingham County Superior Court in May 2009.
John Wheeler, 53, of Laraway Court in Derry on three simple assault-extended term of imprisonment charges. He was accused of striking a Derry police officer in the head and thigh on March 17.
Carole L. Wing, 44, of Shore Drive in Salem on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon-firearm, possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of fentanyl, and possession of cocaine charges, all felonies. She was accused of possessing the gun and the drugs on Jan. 26 in Derry.
Joseph Zarnay, 19, of School Street in Salem on felonious sexual assault and three aggravated felonious sexual assault-extended term charges, all felonies. He was accused of fondling a girl for sexual arousal between Nov. 1, 2018, and Nov. 17, 2022, in Salem.
