Teens Arrested On Charges In Salem: Police Log

Plus: Salem arrested on assault charges; woman reported being slapped on Cluff Crossing Road; Mass. man charged with forgery.

SALEM, NH — Robert C. Gahn Jr., 19, of Shady Lane in Plaistow, was arrested at 4:11 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2020, was arrested on driving after revocation or suspension and conduct after an accident charges. He was arrested on a warrant.

Julie M. McGrady, 19, of Page Road in Litchfield, was arrested at 1:02 p.m. on Jan. 21 on a transport alcohol by a minor charge. Police were sent to South Broadway Street for a report of a man without a license driving a vehicle. A witness later stated the man switched seats with the passenger and a woman was now driving. The vehicle was pulled over on Route 28S and she was arrested.

An overdose was reported on Mulberry Road at 7:25 p.m. on Jan. 14.

Lawrence Morris, 56, of School Street in Salem, was arrested on two simple assault charges. He was arrested on a warrant.

At 3:32 p.m. on Jan. 14, an officer took a report about a possible purse-snatching incident as well as an assault. A woman reported a young man following her on Cluff Crossing Road. The man attempted to grab her purse and slapped her rear end, the report stated, and then took off running on Route 28. The man had gray skinny jeans, a black T-shirt, and black frame glasses. Later, the woman backtracked on the purse-snatching comment. An officer checked the area to see if there were security cameras with footage of the incident.

Michael Leon Brown, 40, of Crescent Street in Brockton, Massachusetts, was arrested at 12:04 p.m. on Jan. 14 on theft by deception-less than $1,000 and forgery charges. He was arrested on a warrant.
