Three from Salem Injured in I-93 Crash
Tractor-trailer truck, other vehicles crash in Methuen; Interstate shut down for about an hour.

Three Salem residents were injured in a multi-vehicle crash earlier this evening on I-93 North in Methuen, MA, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
At around 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 7, state police received a call about a rollover on I-93 northbound in Methuen, prior to Exit 46, Route 110.
Four vehicles ultimately crashed – a 2014 Peterbilt tractor-trailer truck, operated by a Dracut, MA, man; a 2000 Ford Focus being driven by a Salem man; and a Salem woman, driving a 2011 Subaru Legacy; and a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which rolled over. The driver, another Salem man, was transported to Lawrence Memorial General Hospital by fire and rescue teams.

Three lanes were closed to traffic for about an hour. State Police opened the breakdown lane to move traffic around the accident.
The crash is still under investigation.
