Weather

Expect showers to continue on Friday with temperatures in the mid-40s, and wind up to 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service. On Saturday, the sun returns, but it will still be chilly, with highs in the mid-40s. Temps fall drop into the 30s at night. On Sunday, the rain is expected to return with temps in the mid-40s. The sun returns on Monday.

• In Amherst, White Birch Fine Art on 20 Brook Road hosts the NH Open Doors art show on Saturday and Sunday.
• Bruce Jones’s Studio, at 28 Dogtown Road in Exeter, will be open all weekend.
• The Fall Art in Action Show sponsored by the Londonderry Arts Council will be hosted at Mack’s Apples and Shady Hill Greenhouses & Nursery, 230 Mammoth Road in Londonderry.
• The Pontine Theatre, 959 Islington St. in Portsmouth, presents “Extraordinary Extremities” this weekend. Tickets are $24.
• Strawbery Banke Museum, 14 Hancock St. in Portsmouth, presents “Saving Portsmouth: The Preservation Crusades of Miss Dorothy Vaughan,” at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.

• The Main St United Methodist Church, 154 Main St. in Nashua, hosts its Women’s Yuletide Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• The Team Tutas 3rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 2 Somerset Parkway in Nashua, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• The Harvest Fair Fundraiser for Dr. Crisp School will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The school is located at 50 Arlington St. in Nashua.
