• Legal pressure leads Vail to waive tax on NH Epic Pass (concordmonitor.com) — Skiers who frequent Mount Sunapee get a new option: Vail will now sell New Hampshire residents a tax-free, NH-only Epic-style pass usable at Crotched, Sunapee, Attitash, and Wildcat. The move follows pressure from Gov. Kelly Ayotte over Vail’s practice of rolling sales tax into multi-resort pass prices, and a state investigation into whether that violated New Hampshire’s no-sales-tax tradition.
