• New fence will help separate wetland wildlife from airport (keenesentinel.com) — Swanzey’s Dillant-Hopkins Airport is set to get a new 8-foot wildlife perimeter fence, fully enclosing the airfield to reduce dangerous animal collisions with planes. Funded mostly by federal and state grants, construction is expected to start later this year and finish next spring, with routing designed to protect nearby wetlands while improving safety for travelers and neighbors.
