• Distant Hill awarded Quality of Life Grant by Reeve Foundation (vermontjournal.com) — Walpole’s Distant Hill Gardens & Nature Trail has received a $24,999 Quality of Life Grant to buy an all-terrain TerrainHopper vehicle, opening more of its 155-acre property to visitors with mobility challenges. The grant, part of the Reeve Foundation’s national program, supports a broader Monadnock Outdoors effort to expand adaptive outdoor gear and make local trails more inclusive.
