• New 'elementary configuration' could mean closure of Kearsarge Regional's Simonds, Sutton Central schools (concordmonitor.com) — Simonds Elementary School in Warner is being considered for closure as part of a Kearsarge Regional plan to consolidate into two elementary schools by 2028, largely due to repair costs and shrinking enrollment. The final decision will rest with voters, and Warner parents are already urging the board to find options that preserve their walkable neighborhood school without sharply raising local taxes.
