Second Inmate Walks Away From Transitional Housing Unit

NH DOC are looking for Charles Arthur Namiot, an armed robbery convict from Manchester.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections reports that a second minimum security inmate walked away from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit and was placed on escape status, according to Jeffrey Lyons of the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.

Charles Arthur Namiot, 43, whose last known address was Manchester, left for work at 5:10 a.m. on July 24, 2015, and failed to return at his scheduled time of 6 p.m.

Namiot is described as a white male, 6-feet tall, 190 lbs., with sandy hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder and scars on his right arm and right leg.

He is serving a two- to eight-year sentence for armed robbery out of Hillsborough County Superior Court in Manchester with 26 days of time served credited to his sentence. He was eligible for parole on Sept. 7, 2015. His maximum release date will be Nov. 4, 2021.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and New Hampshire State Police are investigating, Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at .

nmate Bruno Martin, who walked away from the same facility on Thursday, has not been apprehended.
