16 year old Pelham resident Zach Andrews passed away after being in a medical induced coma from pneumonia before the schools winter break.
Zach was known for being a very kind person and was always very kind to all of those he was close with.
There is currently a shrine set outside the perimeter of Pelham High School in honor of Zach and many students and towns people alike have come together and supported the family through such a tough time.

After looking on several media outlets, one account from a Pelham student really was amazing. When going to purchase the flowers to bring to the site, a woman in the grocery line stopped and paid for the flowers because she had recently lost her daughter and wanted to pay it forward to the family in this hard time.
My heart goes out to all of those who knew him and heard his incredible story. He will be greatly missed!
